Reroot | Discovering your Heritage
Go on a journey back to your roots where you can explore the heritage and holidays from your homeland through readings as well as interactive games. With the growing use of technology and globalization, children are being exposed to a variety of people and often lack education in detail about their culture at school. The goal of this app is to fill the gap in the educational system in a way simple enough for children to be engaged and understand the significance and stories behind their heritage.

Studies show that second generation immigrants are more likely to lose their first language rather than remain bilingual. Children prefer to speak the dominant language, which decreases knowledge of other languages. This app aims to tackle that issue for children by teaching them to fully understand where they come from so they can indulge in the beauty and richness of their history.
